Cycleslam 2010
What: Bike ride across Europe ( London, UK to Timisoara, RO )
When: From 1st to the 20th of August 2010
Where: Europe ( United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania )
Why: To raise awareness and funds for improving Romania's disabled and abandoned children.
Who: A core team of 20 cyclists plus anyone who wants to join.
"Therapy through Art" Organization
The “Therapy through Art Doina Pocioianu“ Organization was established in February 1998 by psychologist Doina Pocioianu, as a pilot project, the first of its kind in Romania.
The organisation aims to provide psychological evaluation services and recovery through art-therapy to children and young people who suffer from developmental delays, emotional disorders, victims of abuse or ill-treatment and young people with disorders of social integration.
